The Coaching Manual

We had so much fun sitting down with Pavl Williams of the UK-based site The Coaching Manual, a site with the very best advice for coaching soccer/football. As Pavl draws on his experience in soccer/football and we talk about academics, this conversation serves as a really great way to draw out the universal elements in effectively learning any skill.

Pretty much the only thing we didn't figure out in this interview was whether to refer to the sport they play in the World Cup as soccer or football. That's one question that's too hard even for us.

Barnes & Noble Manchester, NH

We had so much fun talking to the people from Katie's home state. (Thanks so much to all the friends, family, former teachers and people we'd never met for coming out.) When Nathan from Barnes & Noble sent us these photos he said, "The crowd was larger than my iPhone could handle. Hence the fish eye shot." We'll take that as a win!
